Project Description: Twinning of Central Park Water Main No. 1 by open-cut trenching. The project includes approximately 2.6 km of pipe installation, two cross-over chambers, and one flowmeter chamber constructed in an urban environment.

Services Provided: Instratus provided vibration monitoring for the project. Vibration monitors were mounted at two residential buildings to monitor construction induced vibrations during the cross-over and flowmeter chamber construction. An additional vibration monitor was utilized to monitor vibration on the existing Central Park Main No.1 during the close proximity twinning.
